I clicked on the link in the email, for lightning fast cowl and it opens this page up. I've tried it a few times and always opens this. Someone has posted the wrong link by the looks of it.

Hi Dronerg, The Lightning Fast Cowl and the Double Looped Scarf are one in the same! We had originally re-named the pattern, but changed it back to its original name chosen by the designer. Sorry for the confusion! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

Seed stitch patterns always look so lovely, but are so easy to knit. I'm looking forward to knitting this scarf.

looks pretty easy really. co a number of stitches & do the seed stitch.. example : ( try) CO 30 sts then k1, p 1..for full row. r2 = K the Purls & purl the knits. continue until you run out of yarn :-) just my guess,, after all it's just sticks & string.. not rocket science :-)

I made this and as jenag said it's easy. Cast on an odd number of stitches (I did 53 and that was too large, suggest 47 or 49), used a size 13 circular needles (16 in). join the work together (ensure you don't twist the stitches), and it's knit, purl, and then you knit your purl stitches and purl your knit stitches. I used 100g of roving yarn and knit until I ran out and that was enough for a nice sized cowl. Very simple..but pay attention (I did several rows wrong and had to rip out!). Good luck!!
