I've been looking simple, knit patterns for a headband for a very long time. I'm ecstatic to report that I have finally found it! This Leftovers Bow Headband, knit in the beautiful moss stitch, is great for not only make an adorable knit accessory, but also for using up color scraps from your yarn collection. It's also extremely versatile. Use this basic bow pattern as a necklace, a bow tie, a hair clip or as a cute embellishment to add to an afghan or a pillow.

Hi - I'm Stefanie, the designer of this pattern, and recently switched websites! The link to this pattern is https//sundaypatternshop.com/free-patterns/free-kn == it-bow-headband-pattern/

This bow does take a while to knit as it is stitched in seed stitch which is K1,P1 then P1,K1 which I find takes longer than stocking stitch to knit. However the finished bow does look unique compare to similar stocking stitch bows I have made. The actual band is made from 3 chains of crochet so you will also need a crochet hook to make the exact same headband as the one shown in the image above. For those of you who do not own crochet hooks you could make a thin garter stitch or stocking stitch band and test lengths round the receipients head. The instructions though are easy to follow as the pattern is repetitive.

Where can I get a copy if the pattern of the white jumper the model is wearing

Hello debswoods01 486368 4! We suggest contacting the designer directly to see if she has a pattern for the model's sweater. Hope this helps! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

hi I know this post was years ago but I dont suppose you remember if you got hold of the pattern to this jumper please? Its so hard to find patterns that my teenage girls will not only appreciate but actually wear!

Hi - I'm Stefanie (the designer and the model). The jumper/sweater was a vintage one that I thrifted and there's no pattern unfortunately!

Unfortunately the print is too small for me to read and I did not feel comfortable with joining the blogger in order to email the website. I am not so young and find knitting a suitable pastime.

BTW...Here's a link to the video on how to make this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmSKytD0TrU

I love the bow, I'll be making them for my 3 granddaughters. One small problem... I don't see how to print it! I can save it, but not print it?

Here's a tip...no matter where you are on your computer (Office, Google, etc), you can hit "Ctrl then P" (Hold Ctrl button, then press the P button) and it should bring your print dialog box up. Then, carry on as you normally would ;)
