Lovely blanket. Making for my grandson who arrives in October. Easy to follow pattern. Love this!

2 weeks now, searching... where is the "Save" button, today ?? WHY ????? did you move it from the top left corner ? was it too easy to use?

This blanket could very well be my new favorite blankie! It looks gorgous in the beautiful blue with lace, cables and stocking stich panels going the entire length of the blanket. For this reason, the pattern might need more attention so I would have to dedicate a special time to just knitting this blanket!

I'm not very good at lacy patterns. i often get lost, so I've found it is really useful to use markers at the end of pattern repeats so I can check myself and make sure I've not messed up before I get to the end of the row and have to unknit all the way back.

help needed to knit a vest whose picture is included. I would be very much obliged if you can give me a written guide line for this pattern.

Hello prithag13, did you find this vest pattern on allfreeknitting.com or somewhere else? I searched on this site and did not find anything similar. Without more information about the garment, it would be very difficult to know what type of yarn was used, the size of the needles, the size of the vest etc. Its a cute vest though, and I hope you are successful in your search. Perhaps someone in your local knitting store can help you recreate it.

I thought I'd snap a photo of the recent finished blanket. Better color and clearer patterns. Can you ask the designer why her Plume Pattern is so much different than mine ( I did follow the instruction)? ahkimlam 1132828 again.

I started to knit with simple instruction two X'mas ago. This does take concentration or stitches will be off. It is still easy once you passed the initial "mistakes". I love the pattern and i am on line 25" which turns out to be beautiful. I do have a question for the designer. The photo you have , the Plume panel looks a lot different than mine. Am I following the instruction wrong? Pray comment. Thanks. Joyce

This is one beautiful blanket. I disagree with assigning it "Easy". I have been knitting for over 50 years and consider myself experienced. This pattern is complicated. It requires great skill and concentration. It would be more accurate to classify it upper intermediate or better yet, experienced.

Hi Phyllis J, While we classify patterns based on how the designer or company does, it's always great to hear about readers' experiences. Thanks for leaving your comment, it'll come in handy for other knitters on the site! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

You are correct, I have a copy of this pattern from Red Heart Yarn and they have it classified as an intermediate knit, which is accurate, it's not all that uncommon for this website to have patterns categorized incorrectly. The picture alone shows an experienced knitter that this is not an "easy" pattern.
