I have seen sampler pattern throws or afghans done in solid colors, but I love the pretty color choices for this one! There are many possibilities for color combinations - use light to dark colors for an ombre effect, brights for a child's room, or match a living room decor.

I've just knitted this for my caravan and its a lovely pattern

I love samplers. You get to try lots of new stitch types and they're very portable. I knit a lot in the car--not while I'm driving, but if I could figure out how I probably would-- and these are perfect for that.

Have knitted two the designs and loving it.

This looks like an excellent pattern for perfecting your knitting skills, especially if you are moving from simple knits toward understanding lace and cable knitting. The small size of each square makes it easy to keep track of the pattern repeats and gives you the ability to frog back to a mistake without losing too much time or effort.

If you highlight the text you would like to print first it will not print the sides.

Would like to know why there isn't a 'PRINT" button for patterns to eliminate are the side stuff?????

I just finished this afghan and love how it turned out. It was worth the effort and time. I learned some new stitches and a lot of practice on joining. Thanks to this project I am ready to try knitting something to wear. :-)

Great but why is a knitting pattern on the all free crochet site?

This is a knitting site. See the top it says all free knitting.
