I believe there are other illustrations on the Internet but it does help for some of us to see a few details. I will leave this pattern until I have more experience.

I don't see a pattern, either. R 1 - R2 - "repeat these 2 rows" - once? twice? inches? Then Dec tips - and apparently 3 ways to decrease? Where? When? If this is in the round, why would you decrease? Nope - do NOT believe this page or pattern is a "scam" - but truly - I sure don't see a pattern.

Well, the pattern actually begins where it says CO 172. That is not clear the way it is written. Visualize the scarf as starting out wide at the bottom, then gradually being narrowed towards the top. Where is says "continue in Pattern" that is where you use the Row 1 and Row 2 instructions, and keep repeating those 2 rows for the length in that section. Hope this helps.

I like this scarf - it is added to the to knit list - it might be easier to follow this pattern if it were laid out better - the pattern instructions run into the directions for actually knitting the scarf so that it seems as if the directions are missing bits until one sits down and studies it all slowly and carefully

its not a scam-many people are able to obtain many wonderful patterns from this site-if you are not able to, the issue is on your end and you should keep your rude and accusatory comments to yourself.

I have to say that this comment really bothers me the AFK sites are anything but a scam and I see no reason for any subscriber to make objectionable comments about tech problems. All one has to do is ask for help when there is a problem and help is there. When others have no problem opening the link it is all too likely that the problem lies with your computer and you have to try again, watching for the mistake or the problem, or should get help. Insulting the editors and techs involved is not the best option at all
