This looks like a simple, easy to make slipper pattern. It uses worsted weight yarn, so you don't need to go buy some fancy specialty yarn. Just use what you have in your stash. You can make them striped or in patches of color with whatever yarn you have on hand.

This is another classic knitting pattern that is simple and quick to make up. It is a great pattern for knitters who are just getting used to the craft, and perfect for community craft groups and classroom settings. It is also an excellent pattern to use for making items to bring to a craft show or bazaar.

This is a classic pattern and one I have made over and over and keep a "wardrobe" of them on hand. I discovered that lacing a length of yarn around the upper edge then tying it in front will keep the slippers from stretching out and you can adjust it to fit better that way.

I just joined All Free Knitting a few days ago I've already knitted one pair of these slippers. They are so easy to make comfy to wear

I have made several of these and they are brilliant aran comes out thinner and smaller but chunky comes out to size and quite thick very impressed with the pattern..........

I have made theses slippers before but I lost the pattern and want to make some more for Christmas gifts. I do not like using up 5 sheets of paper to just get the pattern for the slippers, I do not want all that other stuff.

when you go into your print program, go into print preview first, then only print the pages that the pattern is on.

The pattern says: #4 weight; worsted weight. Some Aran yarn is worsted weight.

yes, very confusing so I looked it up because it states chunky worsted weight yarn (8 ply), chunky is a 5 yarn, worsted weight is a 4 yarn and 8ply is a dk yarn which is 3, so i did what every good knitter does I tried it with each weight of yarn, the 3 was really loose and sloppy, the chunky was a little tight but firm and the worsted weight is what turned out the best. Hope this helps someone.

The pattern says to use chunky worsted weight yarn. Is it chunky OR worsted weight? I'm confused. Thanks!

I have knitted these slippers for years and have always used good ole worsted weight yarn.. just the ole everyday worsted yarn.. and it has always worked and I use size 7 needle.. never had a problem .. I hope that helps.....
