One Ball Mary Jane Slippers
If you know someone with chronically chilly toes, this One Ball Mary Jane Slipper pattern would make an excellent, and thoughtful, gift. Made with just one skein of yarn, this knitting pattern for slipper socks is fabulous for a beginner because it uses straight knitting needles. Have fun clearing out your stash and creating your own pair of cozy slippers.

This is a simple pattern for making slippers that come out looking great. Although it calls for bulky or chunky yarn, I might try using two strands of worsted weight yarn held together and see how that works. I've also made slippers before using vintage rug yarn, so might try that also.

I like this pattern because I prefer to knit with straights, and also looks a bit easier to slip into than a full slipper. And they're pretty economical using only one ball of yarn.

Why am I no able to get the instructions, please? I log in - my password is accepted, I "Click here for knitting pattern" and nothing further happens. This happens every single time I've tried to get the instructions. Please enlighten me. Thank you. Sandra
