Could you please explain the direction " Increase in 2nd stitch of each row? Thank you!

You will increase 1 stitch in the 2nd stitch by doing a KFB, the 5 stitches you knit already created the top band, now you are creating the sides of the slipper on an angle.

Easy enough pattern but I will have to see if one size fits all. I do not have big feet so they may be OK but I don't like the feel of anything that is too small and is supposed to stretch to fit. I will try them because I am always looking for slippers. Thank you.

my granny made these 40 years ago and I am so happy to have found the pattern, I love these slippers and have made up some to keep on hand for when company comes over.

What size do these pocket book slippers fit?

they are a one size fits almost all-because of the ribbing they stretch to fit every foot-I'm a size 4 in childrens and my daughter in law is a size 9.5 in womens-I've made these for everyone!

Great, thanks! I was about to ask this myself -) .

Can anyone tell me where to find a two colour infinity scarf/cowl that was featured about two weeks ago? it was shown in Black and White -

Hi MLou1936, Sounds like you're talking about the Black & White & Cabled-All-Over Cowl. :) -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

how can I download the Pocket Book Slipper pattern to my Adobe file. I can't seem to be able to find out the proper instructions. Thank you, Sharon Heinzinger

Love Love this pattern.. SO cute when completed & stay your feet to boot .. No pun intended :-) if you are unsure.. I say , go ahead, knit 'em.. add a button to the top .. they really look like a Pocketbook when done. enjoy ! :_) this is my new Go To Slipper pattern for girls & women..

I love the pocket book slippers, how can I get the pattern. There is no place that says to print. I'm not that good on the computer.

Hi, rngray5040 3707206! You can access the pattern by clicking the link above that says "Click here for knitting pattern." A new window should open directing you to the pattern in full on the designer's website. Hope that helps! Happy knitting! --Editors of AllFreeKnitting

You can also copy and paste.... copy the entire pattern, then paste it to a Word document (Word 2003, 2007, or 2010)... you can print from there. I simply copy and paste to an email and then send the email to myself. Then I always have a copy handy. I have a folder setup in my email. I move all my patterns to it for easy access. Good luck....

I too am from Australia and do not knit a lot of your patterns because I can't convert the ply of your wool as we don't have the same brands here could you give the ply each wool is equal to so we can use your patterns as they are beautiful and I have been knitting for a long time and love to make nice little knits for my grandchildren thank. You Nanny

I need all the refresher help can get

Thanks this is what had been waiting for. Can it be done in a size 4 shoe size?

we call these the "Magic Slippers" because no one can believe the little bag-looking thing will actually fit a foot! I make them on size 3s with sock yarn, a short button tab on one side, and strap with buttonhole on the other. Gorgeous buttons required. they can also be worn buttoned over your belt as a pocket, looking very chi chi!

Clever name, boudicaknits 2772858!

One of the best patterns ever. You can make two at once. It's a great gift especially for someone who is going on a trip.

What a thoughtful gift idea, lindaewen 2565208!

I was so shocked to see this pattern, I have been making this pattern for over 40 years, however, we called it Go Go Slippers because you took them on the go anywhere you went. We made the straps a little longer so you could tie a knot on top of your foot. Just thought I would share my story withy you. They are a fun slipper to make. Thanks for listening. Karen
