Hello narjismurtaza 5478 192, I would imagine you could use a ribbon yarn to knit this shrug. It would give it another whole dimension and be even more elegant. Just make sure that you knit a swatch to ensure you have the right gauge before starting the sweater. I wonder if a chained ribbon yarn would be better than a woven yarn and perhaps give you more drape.

This Lilac lace shrug looks so elegant that I feel like dropping the project that I am working at the moment and start knitting this shrug. It is beautifully lacy but I wonder if somehow I can use ribbon in this pattern because I like ribbons. I wonder if someone could help me on this.
