The range of colors available through independent dyers always amazes me. One of the reasons that I love going to yarn stores and fiber festivals is the fantastic variety of yarns on display. I was incredibly excited to get my hands on a skein of yarn from Knitting Notions. I’ve noticed them at a couple of different shows, and, from the first, have been impressed by the stunning colors the folks at Knitting Notions manage to imprint on their yarns.
Distinctly inspired by nature, the yarns from Knitting Notions are gorgeous experiments in color. I was given a solid color called Pear to review. The yarn perfectly captures the essence of a ripe pear; the yarn literally looks delicious. You might even be tempted to eat it! The Pear yarn is a sumptuous sock weight yarn, that’s made of 100% Superwash Merino wool. You could make a beautiful pair of socks with this yarn, or use it as part of a bigger project. Whatever you decide to make, you can rest assured that this yarn, or any yarn from Knitting Notions, will look marvelous in its finished form. You won’t want to go back to store bought yarn after knitting with this luxurious, beautiful yarn.

I love knitting socks and wear them especially in winter ever though it is not as cold down here in Texas. All my friends really appreciate them as gifts too
