Super Bulky Basket Weave Cowl - Free Knitting Pattern
"Knit up a super bulky, super textured cowl to fend off the cold temperatures. This is the perfect layer for skiers, snowboarders, or anyone who spends any amount of time outside in the cold and snow. You’ll need approximately 100-120 yards super bulky yarn (6). I used Red Heart Mixology and size 11 circular knitting needles in a 24” length. This made for a nice and rigid cowl that will stand up on its own. If you want to make the cowl a little more drapey, go ahead and use a slightly thinner super bulky yarn (Caron Tea Cakes work great). If you’d like to make the cowl larger or smaller, or are using a different combination of yarn and needles, you can use any multiple of 12 to create this cowl and you can still follow the pattern as written."
