Knit Nose Warmer
You've probably never wondered how to make a nose warmer, but here's a pattern, anyway.
That's right: you've heard of crocheted nose warmers, but get ready for knitted ones! This Knit Nose Warmer is a quick and easy knit that you can whip up in just a couple of hours to help chase the winter chill... or not. While this knitted nose warmer pattern is made with thin yarn and double-pointed needles, it's easy enough for anyone who's just picking up circular knitting to accomplish. The example uses an alpaca yarn for all the warmth of wool with none of the itch, but acrylic yarn would be an excellent cost-effective (and washable!) option.

I-cord
CO 3 sts on one double-pointed needle.
Knit all three stitches, and slide all stitches to other end of the double-pointed needle. Knit all three stitches again, beginning with the first stitch you knit. After each row, slide stitches to other end of double-pointed needle to work in a miniature spiral rather than back-and-forth.
Bind off your I-cord when it can reach from one side of your nose, all the way around your head to the other side of your nose, comfortably and snugly. Be sure to not make your I-cord too long, or it will not be tight enough to support the nose warmer on your face.
Finishing
Tie each end of I-cord to either side of the cast-on edge of the nose warmer tightly.
Weave in ends.
