There are so many potential color combinations for this hat! You can make one for everyone on your gift list, plus make a bunch for donating. Mix it up by knitting the crown decrease in garter stitch instead of stockinette if you want. Experiment with it and have fun. The pattern is a starting point - go ahead and mix it up!"
