Beauty of a Basketweave Hat
If the rich, yet feminine, coloring of this Beauty of a Basketweave Hat isn't enough to have you grasping for your knitting needles in anticipation, the lovely woven design is. This pattern will teach you how to knit a hat that really stands out from the bunch in a creative, yet classy, way. First, using your size 7 circular needle, cast on 96 stitches loosely, place marker, and join in round.

Row 6: knit
On your first pattern repeat, here’s where you’ll switch to your size 8 needles. Go ahead and ignore this note after you switch your first time, since that’s the only switch there is!

You may want to switch to your dpns at this point…
