Place 1 st on needle.
Row 1: K into front, back and front of st. 3 sts.
Row 2: Yrn, k3. 4 sts.
Row 3: Yrn, k4. 5 sts.
Row 4: Yrn, k5. 6 sts.
Row 5: Yrn, k6. 7 sts.
Row 6: Yrn, k3, yrn, k2tog, k2. 8 sts.
Row 7 and every following WS row: Yrn, k to end of row.
Row 8: Yrn, k2, k2tog, yrn, k1, yrn, k2tog, k2. 10 sts.
Row 10: Yrn, k2, k2tog, yrn, k3, yrn, k2tog, k2. 12 sts.
Row 12: Yrn, k5, yrn, sk2po, yrn, k5. 14 sts.
Row 14: Yrn, (k3, yrn, k2tog, k3), to last 7 sts, k3, yrn, k2tog, k2. 16 sts.

Row 2: Yrn, p to end of row.
Rep last 2 rows twice. 273 sts.
Row 7 Picot: K1, yrn, k2tog, to end of row.
Row 8: Yrn, k3tog, p to end of row.
Row 9: Yrn, k3tog, k to end of row.
Row 10: As Row 8.
Row 11: As Row 9.
Row 12: As Row 10.
Cast off loosely using 4mm needle
Side Picot Edging
With RS facing, starting at bottom, pick up 1 st from centre point, (k1, p1) from every side loop, pick up 1 st from Picot Row. 268 sts
Rep Rows 2-12 of Top Picot Edging.
Cast off using 4mm needle.
Complete second side to match.
Finishing
Press or block to schematic measurements. Join corners. Slip stitch edging to WS. Thread ribbon through alternate side holes and anchor at top and bottom.
