GAUGE: 22 sts = 4” (10cm); 32 rows = 4” (10cm) over lace pattern. EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL FOR THIS PROJECT. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.

Cast on 80 sts.
Seed Stitch Border
Row 1 (wrong side): *K1, p1; repeat from *across.
Row 2:*P1, k1; repeat from * across.
Rows 3 and 4: Repeat last 2 rows.
Begin Lace Pattern
Row 1 (wrong side): [K1, p1] twice (for Seed stborder), place marker, purl to last 4 sts, placemarker, [k1, p1] twice (for Seed st border).
Row 2: [P1, k1] twice, slip marker, *yo, k2,k2tog, k2; repeat from * to next marker, slipmarker, [p1, k1] twice.
Row 3:[K1, p1] twice, slip marker, purl to nextmarker, slip marker, [k1, p1] twice.
Row 4: [P1, k1] twice, slip marker, *k2, k2tog,k2, yo; repeat from * to next marker, slipmarker, [p1, k1] twice.
Row 5: Repeat Row 3.
Repeat Rows 2–5 until piece measures about58½” (148.5cm) from beginning, end with a wrong side row.
Seed Stitch Border
Row 1 (right side): *P1, k1; repeat from * across.
Row 2: *K1, p1; repeat from * across.
Rows 3 and 4: Repeat last 2 rows.
Bind off.
