Insert crochet hook in one short edge of scarf and place fold on hook. Draw fold through edge, forming a loop. Thread ends of strands through loop and pull to tighten fringe.
Repeat this process to attach 4 fringes evenly spaced across each short edge of scarf. Trim to even.
Tie the ends of the fringe strands to prevent fraying.
