Celestial Blue Wrap
This stunning knit wrap is a perfect spring or summer project.
We have never seen a knit wrap so perfect for spring. This Celestial Blue Wrap is not only a lovely subdued blue to match the growing Forget-Me-Nots, but it's lightweight enough to not overheat for those warmer, sunnier days. This long wrap can be folded twice for a more bunched look around the shoulders, or draped elegantly around the arms. Don't stuff it in the back of the closet once spring is over, because this wrap also makes an excellent scarf. Try pairing it with a totally black or gray outfit so the color can stand out.
Knitting Needle Size3 or 3.25 mm, 6 or 4 mm
Yarn Weight(0) Lace (33-40 stitches to 4 inches). Includes crochet thread.
Gauge20 sts and 33 rows to 10cm measured over st st using 4mm (no 8) (US 6) needles.
Finished SizeCompleted wrap measures 170cm (67in) long and 51 cm (20in) wide.

- Rowan Fine Lace Yarn 50gm - 3 skeins (photographed in Retro 923)
- 1 pair 3 1/4 mm (no 10) (US 3) needles
- 1 pair 4mm (no 8) (US 6) needles
Instructions
Wrap
Using 3¼ mm (US 3) needles cast on 102 sts. Work 4 rows in g st.
Change to 4 mm (US 6) needles.
Row 1 (RS): K18, work next 10 sts as row 1 of chart A, K15, work next 16 sts as row 1 of chart B, K15, work next 10 sts as row 1 of chart A, K18.
Row 2: K3, P15, work next 10 sts as row 2 of chart A, K15, work next 16 sts as row 2 of chart B, P15, work next 10 sts as row 2 of chart A, P15, K3.
These 2 rows set the sts – 3 pattern panels with St st in between and g st edges.
Cont as set until 35 pattern repeats of chart B have been worked (56 repeats of chart A will have been worked), ending with RS facing for next row.
Change to 3 1/4 mm (US 3) needles.
Work 4 rows in g st.
Cast off loosely.
