Color Block Kerchief
We've found the perfect first big knitting pattern for those beginning knitting. This Color Block Kerchief is knit entirely in garter stitch, with only a couple of other simple techniques. Do you recognize the sequence of color? The red, white, and blue of this summer shawl is just the thing for a Fourth of July celebration, or to wear to cheer on the best team in the Olympics. Of course, if you're not a fan of the patriotic colors, you can try substituting the blue at the very end with more red, or switch the colors up entirely.
