Counting Rows
When counting rows in a project, remember that the cast-on stitches count as a row, as does the row on your arm at the time you’re counting!
Wrap
Using 5 strands of Color A held together, cast on 12 stitches, leaving a tail at least 16" (40.5cm) long.
Work in Plain Stitch for 18 rows total.
Change to 5 strands of Color B (see page 13). Work in Plain Stitch for 4 rows.
Change to 5 strands of Color C. Work in Plain Stitch for 8 rows.
Bind off using Color C, leaving a tail at least 16" (40.5cm) long.
Fringe
Cut 60 strands of each Color A and Color C 32" (81cm) long. Work fringe along each short end as shown on page 16, using 5 strands at a time. Match the color of the fringe to the color of the end you are working on. Incorporate the cast-on/bind-off tails as shown on page 16.
Trim fringe evenly to approximately 15" (38cm).
