Catoosa Socks
"Catoosa Socks are a perfect first sock project for knitters ready to try the addiction of sock knitting! They have a gorgeous texture that is easily accomplished and there are included video tutorials for each step of the sock. They are knit from the cuff, down. They feature a traditional heel flap and turn, and a gathered toe. They use a sock weight hand dyed yarn. I knit mine with double pointed needles (DPNs) and the accompanying long tail cast on tutorial shows how to cast on with DPNs, but experienced sock knitters can use whatever needle configuration they prefer."
