- LION BRAND crochet hook size K-10.5 [6.5 mm]
- LION BRAND large-eyed blunt needle
Gauge:
4 stitches = 4 in. [10 cm] in Stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side) with 5 strands of yarn held together. Due to the nature of the fabric when working with Speed Stix, gauge may vary throughout.
EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL FOR THIS PROJECT.
Afghan:
With 2 strands each of A and B and 1 strand of C held together cast on 34 stitches.
Row 1 (right side): Knit.
Row 2: Purl.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until Afghan measures 54 in. [137 cm] from beginning. Bind off.
Finishing:
Weave in ends.
Fringe
For each fringe, cut a 20 in. (51 cm) length of each yarn. Hold strands together and fold in half. With crochet hook, draw fold through edge of piece forming a loop. Pull ends of fringe through loop and tighten. Place fringes evenly along first and last rows of Afghan. Trim fringe ends evenly.
