SPECIAL TECHNIQUES
6-st LP (Left Pleat): Slip next 2 sts onto a dpn (needle 1), the next 2 sts onto a dpn (needle 2) and the next 2 sts onto a dpn (needle 3).
Hold needle 1 in front with the RS facing out, fold needle 2 so that the WS of needle 2 is facing the WS of needle 1.
Fold needle 3 so that it is in the back with the RS facing the RS of needle 2. There will be three layers of fabric folded on top of each other. * K3tog using 1 st from each dpn; rep from * once.
6-st RP (Right Pleat): Slip next 2 sts onto a dpn (needle 1), the next 2 sts onto a dpn (needle 2) and the next 2 sts onto a dpn (needle 3). Hold needle 1 in back with RS facing out, fold needle 2 so that the WS is facing forward, and the RS of needle 2 is facing the RS of needle 1. Fold needle 3 so that it is in the front with the RS facing out. There will be three layers of fabric folded on top of each other. * K3tog using 1 st from each dpn; rep from * once.
