Beg at toe end with B and set of 4 double-pointed needles, cast on 10 sts, leaving a long end. Divide sts evenly on 3 needles (4, 3, 3). Join in rnd placing a marker on first st.
1st rnd: Knit.

3rd rnd: Knit.
