1st row: (RS).*K1. P1. Rep from * to last st. K1.
2nd row: *P1. K1. Rep from * to last st. P1. Rep last 2 rows (K1. P1) ribbing for 2" [5 cm], ending on a 2nd row.
Proceed in stocking st until work from beg measures 20 (21 - 22 - 23 - 24)" [51 (53.5 - 56 - 58.5 - 61) cm]. Change to smaller needles and work (K1. P1) ribbing for 1" [2.5 cm]. Cast off.
FRONT
Make as for Back.
SLEEVES
With larger needles cast on 49 (49 - 51 - 55 - 57) sts. Work in (K1. P1) ribbing for 2" [5 cm], ending on a 2nd row. Proceed in stocking st and inc 1 st each side next row, then every 4 rows 5 (14 - 20 - 23 - 30) times. Inc 1 st each side every 6 rows 18 (12 - 8 - 6 - 1) time(s). 97 (103 - 109 - 115 - 121) sts. Cont in stocking st until Sleeve from beg measures 19" [48.5 cm]. Cast off.
FINISHING
Pin pieces to measurements. Cover with a damp cloth, leaving cloth to dry. Sew shoulder seams 3½ (4½ - 5½ - 6½ - 7½)" [9 (11.5 - 14 - 16.5 - 19) cm] in from each armhole edge. Mark 8 (8½ - 9 - 9½ - 10)" [20.5 (21.5 - 23 - 24 - 25.5) cm] down from each shoulder and sew sleeves between markers, centering sleeve at shoulder. Sew side and sleeve seams.
