"This soft and squishy ribbed hat is perfect for keeping your little ones head and ears protected from the cold. Makes a great baby shower gift. Since this hat is so stretch, it fits sizes newborn through 2 years old. It’s a nice and easy pattern, something you could make while watching tv - pay a little more attention when you get to the decrease rows though. You’ll need size 7 circular knitting needles in 16” length, as well as approximately 100 yards worsted weight yarn - less than a skein for sure. The hat in the image was made using Caron Baby Cakes, but you could use any worsted weight yarn that is soft enough for baby’s delicate head."
