- Size 5 mm (U.S.8) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
GAUGE
18 sts and 24 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st.
ABBREVIATIONS
cr2B = Knit into back of 2nd stitch on needle, then knit first stitch, slipping both stitches off needle at same time.
cr2P = Purl into front of 2nd stitch on needle then purl first stitch, slipping both stitches off needle at same time.
INSTRUCTIONS
Cast on 34 sts.
1st to 4th rows: Knit.
5th row: (RS). K4. *Cr2B. K2. Rep from * to last 6 sts. Cr2B. K4.
