Knitting Needle Size9 or 5.5 mm, Circular Knitting Needles
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Materials:
- Red Heart® With Love™: 1 skein (370yds) each 1252 Mango A, 1311 Khaki B, and 1321 Chocolate C
- Circular Knitting Needles: 5.5mm [US 9] – 32”
- Yarn needle
GAUGE: 16 sts = 4”; 26 rows = 4” in Seed st.
CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.
Scarf measures 60” long x 6” wide.
NOTE: A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches. Work back and forth, do not join.
Seed Stitch
Row 1: * K1, P1; repeat from * to last st; K1.
Repeat Row 1 for Seed st.
SCARF
With color A, cast on 241 sts. Work in Seed st until piece measures 2” from cast-on row. Change to color B and continue in Seed st until piece measures 4” from cast-on row. Change to color C and continue in Seed st until piece measures 6” from cast on row. Bind off loosely. Weave in all ends.
