I like to knit little hats for newborns and especially for preemies these little hats keep their heads warm, maintaining body heat. I use soft yarns in pale greens and soft yellows as well as nice pinks and blues then donate them to the local hospital for the maternity unit -- there are never enough little hats such as these/
