If you are looking for a little sweater here is a darling one. The author shares her skills for free on many patterns which is very kind. I really enjoyed knitting this for a friends baby. She has the pattern for larger sizes so you can make Big Sis a matching one also. So many different things you can do with this basic sweater. The bodice is one color and skirt in another. I even saw this made up like a watermelon. Talk about adorable! That will be my next one )

This pattern goes all the way up to size 4-6 so it would be the perfect top for the first day of kindergarten. I love that it looks like a little smock and it would be so cute worn over a pair of jeans or leggings with a matching shirt.
