I think there comes a point in every knitter's life where they admit that all they want is a quick, satisfactory project. If you've found yourself in this boat (believe me, I practically live in that boat), then you'll love getting your hands on this exciting collection of knit hats, caps, berets and more. Each pattern featured is small, portable and perfect for the busy knitter who is always on the go.
Besides being able to complete hat projects quickly, as the authors explain, hats are also great opportunities for practicing new techniques and stitches in a tiny, confined project. Build your confidence gradually by testing out a new stitch in one of these hats and then when you find a larger project that uses the same technique, you'll be able to knit it with confidence.
What I particularly appreciate about this book is all of the variety. You'll find everything from lacy feminine hats to hats that are strong and sporty, perfect for your favorite gentlemen. Even if you're new to hat knitting, you'll find something to enjoy in Weekend Hats. There are several basic patterns along with patterns for the more advanced knitter, but no matter what your skill level is, all of these projects are easy to take with you and perfect for the colder seasons. Enjoy!
