This is an interesting pattern, nice lacy look. But I don't really care for the bobbles. I'm thinking I would leave them off and maybe just knit the stitch where they are supposed to be. Does that sound like it would work in the pattern? I'd also be tempted to single crochet around the edges to keep them from rolling.

This pattern is so very dainty and as the intro says, perfect for spring. I don't usually think of cowls for spring, but on early spring days when it's still a bit chilly it would be perfect. I like the challenge of several different stitches in one project, too.
