This gorgeous, mossy green knit cowl pattern is a great way to stay warm and add some color to a cold, drab day. The Emerald Isle Cowl celebrates the Irish in all of us with its bright green color and simple, yet pretty stitch design. This cowl knits up pretty quickly, and makes a great gift for anyone with a birthday around St. Patrick's Day. We love the Emerald Isle Cowl just as it is shown in the picture, but any other color DK weight yarn will do.

So glad I stumbled on to this cowl pattern before Saint Patrick's Day! I think it would make a lovely gift for my friend who has Irish roots and loves to wear green on that day! The pattern does not look very complicated so I think I should have it done over the weekend
