    Yarn Weight(0) Lace (33-40 stitches to 4 inches). Includes crochet thread.

    Gauge1 stitches, 2 rows, 3 inches. stockinette stitch

    • Needles size US 4

    7.5in x 52in (after blocking

     

    Abbreviations:
    BO=Bind Off
    CO=Cast On
    K=Knit
    K2tog=knit next 2 sts together
    St(s)=stitches
    YO=yarn over

     

    Gauge:
    6 sts x 8 rows =1in (unblocked)

     

    Note:
    Place markers after first 13 sts, then after every 12 sts to help keep track of the pattern.

     

    Instructions:
    (6 st x 10 row repeat)
    Round 1: K1, *K4, K2tog, YO, repeat from *, end K1
    Round 2: K1, *K3, K2tog, K1, YO, repeat from *, end K1
    Round 3: K1, *K2, K2tog, K2, YO, repeat from *, end K1
    Round 4: K1, *K1, K2tog, K3, YO, repeat from *, end K1
    Round 5: K1, *K2tog, K4, YO, repeat from *, end K1
    Round 6: *K2tog, YO, K4, repeat from * to last 8 sts, end K2tog, YO, k6
    Round 7: K1, *K1, YO, K3, K2tog, repeat from *, end K1
    Round 8: K1, *K2, YO, K2, K2tog, repeat from *, end K1
    Round 9: K1, *K3, YO, K1, K2tog, repeat from *, end K1
    Round 10: K1, *K4, YO, K2tog, repeat from *, end K1

    Cast on 290 sts.
    Place marker to designate start of round.
    Join to work in the round, being careful not to twist.
    Knit one round
    Purl one round

    I like when I see you can print the pattern. When I see the word LACE in a pattern as a beginner knitter it puts a fear in me. But I am ready to give it a try. If you don't try you will never advance your skills. This is a well written pattern so give it a try with me
