Beautiful! Would like to knit it but have some problems with the abbreviations. Is there any site where I can see what they mean? Thank you.

If you have access to a computer, you can google the abbreviation to find out what the stitch abbrevation is. I have also used You Tube search if it is a stitch I haven't done before and have found the tutorial videos on how the stitch is done very helpful, some are better than others.
