I like the look although, I agree that it looks a bit more stiff than I would prefer. Given the comments below, I may experiment with the size needles by knitting a swatch first and see if it the knit is as tight as the photo shows. It is almost always a good idea to knit a swatch first to check your gauge.

I love the look of this cowl and that it would knit up quick. But with size 35 needles mine doesn't have the same look as the one pictured. It's much holier and drapes more. It's definitely not as full, even though I'm using a super bulky yarn. I wonder if the pattern neglected to mention that two threads of yarn should be held together for the pattern.
