Victorian Neck Truffle
Keep warm the posh way with the Victorian Neck Truffle. This exquisite knit neck warmer features a chunky truffle knit cowl strung together with a gorgeous satiny ribbon. We love the smoky lavender yarn and sage green bow combo, but feel free to use any super bulky yarn. This delicious cowl pattern is perfect for high tea or any other classy occasion that calls for a polished look. The Victorian Neck Truffle can be finished in quickly just in time for tea and crumpets!

The pattern for this neck warmer is not written out on the blogger's page. You will have to download it to see the pattern. It is written to have a closure of two 2" buttons. In the picture above the buttons are omitted and a ribbon is woven into the warmer as a closure. It looks like it is laced criss-cross the way you'd do a shoelace. It would have been helpful to have a little more instruction of how to do it.

all the information is there from the horizontal herringbone pattern (part of the instructions actually) to information about the ribbon (first page) - not sure but I think I prefer the button closure myself.

Pattern not shown on that site. The exact picture of the cowl with the ribbon comes up, but a brief description under indicates using buttons, nothing said about ribbon--and no pattern. I clicked on "download", received a pattern with 2 large buttons--no ribbon or instructions how to use it.

I found the page, but the pattern is not the same. It uses buttons rather than ribbon for closing. It also tells you to use herringbone stitch without giving the stitch pattern. This is a sad excuse for a pattern.

If you read the instructions, the horizontal herringbone pattern is included just above the projecy specific instructions where to find the ribbon instructions is in the comments section on the previous page
