There seems to be something missing on this pattern such as the collar. Is this correct. Thank you

Hi, there is no separate collar piece. What happens is, you make the scarf, and when you wrap it around your shoulders and button it, you fold the top edge down like a collar. It's actually a great pattern because you can decide how you'd like to style it, snug or a little loose, and how you want to fold the part around your neck.
