Nice easy blanket which will work up quickly. I liked the pattern where the writer described the exact pattern used. Sometimes you need that. You get the same effect which is great. You don't have to use the same colors but it is a good guide. I think this blanket is excellent for a beginner as well. Thank you.

This is a colorful blanket and in easy garter stitch. It could be a good stash buster project because you use two strands of worsted weight yarn held together. You can make the stripes whatever widths you like, so when you run out of one color you can start the next!

Striped and colorful it is - but here we are careful of the word native. A plant may be native to the province, but that is the only use I can think of that is acceptable. That aside, this may be the second blanket I decide to knit because I like the colour and the brightness of it

I would change the name of this, it's not Native...unless a Native person created this pattern. "Striped Blanket" would be more appropriate.

I think that the blanket was designed by someone who had just visited Mexico and she wanted to create something that reminded her of the colors and blankets she'd seen there.

Don't know if I would consider it Native, per se, but it is colorful and appears to be a very easy pattern.
