    Honeycomb Waves Blanket

This intricate free knitting pattern is perfect for the knitter who is looking to go bold. The Honeycomb Waves Blanket combines bright colors with varying textures to create an afghan that's a work of art. This wonderfully textured afghan is a great way to spice up a boring room or a couch that's looking a little drab. Wrap yourself up in a blanket full of honeycomb color.

Wow, I love the look and texture of this blanket! The self patterning yarn the designer used is a silk, cotton, wool, and nylon blend called Noro Taiyo. I wouldn't be able to afford that kind but maybe I can find something similar that I can substitute to make this.

Hello, I've made several easy afghans, however; I would like to made more. Are there any "easy" instructions as the last you have posted are Intermediates and I'm not that good as yet. I have been trying to learn how to cable knit and double knit, but without a "live pro" to help, it's difficult. This is when I wish grandma was still living. She passed when I was six, but she could tat, knit, and crochet. At six, you have only fond memories and wishes she were here. Thank you. Sue
