Someone below asked about Row 43. There is a typo mistake in that row as written above. It should read Row 43 K5, P9, cable, P9 repeat from to last 5 sts K5. Hope that clears up the confusion. Its a pretty pattern, you just have to work it along very carefully.

Well, the asterisks and punctuation didn't print in my answer. Should be K5, P9, (asterisk) cable, P9, repeat from (asterisk) to last 5 sts, K5.

Are there any corrections for In a Pinch Afghan. I have knitted and ripped out too many times. It seems to be 19 sts on the last set row in pattern, however starting a next row there is one too may stitches. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I am having the same problem with Hawaiian Lacy throw red heart pattern wr2044 . I have ripped it too many times . Seems it off by 1 st. So I thought I would use the yarn for this one , it uses the same needle size and color. I won't now I don't need to start another headache . These patterns need to be test before they are released . I am looking for a new pattern.

Is there a typo on row 43? K5, P9, cable, P9 repeat to last 5 sts K5. There's only one asterisk. What get's repeated? The stitches don't seem to add up. Is this a cable row?

I just finished this pattern and it also drove me crazy. I ripped the beginning a number of times. I lost the instructions, but what I had figured out is that you have to keep track of the beginning and the end of the repeat with the asterisks also if you are not careful you may accidentally drop the yarn over. What saved me was a graph with the stitches and I just counted the boxes. Once you get the hang of the repeats it works up beautifully.

Have tried this pattern. Everytime I get to row the end of row 6 I don't have enough stitches! Have ripped it out 3 times and started over! Counted stitches after each row and always have 155. Get to end of row 6 and I always have 153 stitches! Am done messing with this pattern. Not happy.

If you follow the directions precisely as written for Row 9 - you lose 11 stitches. I knitted and unknitted this row 3 times before I figured out that one of the knits should be a purl and one of the purls should be a knit in order to achieve the yo needed to allow for the ssk and 2tog stitches.

The stitch count does not change on this row for every increase there is a decrease to compensate for it, so there would be no loss of stitches on this row.

I am confused about the needle size: At the top of the pattern is says it is: Knitting Needle Size: 6 or 4 mm, Circular Knitting Needles; however in the Materials section it says: Circular Knitting Needle: 6 mm [US 10] 36. Which is correct for US needles: 6 or 10? On my conversion chart I have that a 6 mm is a size U. S. 10 and that a 4 mm is a size U. S. 6. I really like the pattern however just want to make sure on the needle size. Thanks!

The needles size is a 6mm-the notation at the top is an error-i checked it on the red heart site and the gauge indicates it is also a 6mm, someone has made an error converting a 6mm at the top of the page 6mm is a 10 US. Hope this helps.
