Foxy Baby Blanket

"I wanted to create a baby blanket that was gender neutral and not over-the-top cutesy. I decided on foxes because they fit in perfectly with my son's woodland-themed nursery. This blanket may look difficult to make but it's actually all garter stitch with some increases and decreases. The foxes are knit separately and then sewn together- they fit together like puzzle pieces. The diamond shaped pieces to fill in the missing spaces. This Fox Blanket is knit using straight needles and worsted weight yarn."

This is an adorable blanket. It is a bit different and you can make it for a little boy or girl - or yourself. The instructions look easy to follow. You can make it in all the different colors foxes are. Thanks for the pattern.

I so have to knit this with Fox in my name it is a must for me. I have just ordered my yarn but have included balck to do the eyes and noses as I am not very keen on the matching ones shown in the picture. I like the way that the blanket shapes round the designer in the picture and it is knitted on straight needles in sections which I prefer to having to knit on circular needles in one blanket.

This is so cute! And it's done on straight needles - my preferred method of knitting. I love Vanna's Choice yarn, too, it's super soft and very easy to knit with, just the right amount of give on the needles without being stretchy.

You know I just saw a quilt that looks like this knit blanket - but I don't know how to sew! This is the next best thing and I am so excited to get started on it. Time to dive into the stash for the yarn...
