Hi Please can anyone help? I've seen (-18-) in a pattern and I don't know what it means - I've knitted for 50 years and I've never seen it before. Many thanks Linda

The numbers divided by dashes in brackets in a knitting pattern denote the the different numbers for sizes for repeats usually of a stitch pattern, for example (16-18-20) would be first size, second size, third size. Hope this helps, happy knitting.

What a great service you're providing for us who knit. I always detest having to buy a book for one pattern, knowing I'll never make any of the other things in it. This way I can select the ones I want, print and make. Just hope I live long enough to get them all done.
