When these became popular a few years ago, I made several using a few different patterns. I like this one best. It is simple enough and a good way for beginners to start to expand upon their knitting skills. It calls for a provisional cast on, which you can find tutorials to learn how. It also calls for the Kitchener Stitch to close. Also, easy enough following a tutorial. Using (5) Bulky, it should work up quick.

I made these for my sisters and myself. Having never cabled before, this pattern made it simple for a beginner like me. #BestIdeaEver

I made these last year for Christmas gifts and they were a real hit ! Very easy to do and very comfortable to wear(I did a few for myself!) I tried a variation of yarns and all worked well. Thank you for making this pattern available.

That looks like a nice headband but, it would make my hair sick out.
