Knitting Needle Size50 or 25 mm, Circular Knitting Needles

GaugeGAUGE: 3 sts = 4” [10 cm]; 5 rows = 4” [10 cm] in Stockinette stitch. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.
Finished SizePillows are 20” [51 cm] square.
Materials List
- RED HEART® Boutique Irresistible™: 5 balls 7962 Eucalyptus for 2 pillow fronts (2½ balls for each pillow)
- Susan Bates® Circular Knitting Needles: 25mm [US 50] 40” long (101.6cm)
- Two 20” square [51 cm] pillow forms, 1 yd [1 m]] contrasting fabric for back, matching thread and sewing needle, yarn needle
Instructions
Pillow Front
Cast on 17 sts.
Row 1 (Wrong Side): K1, purl to last st, k1.
Row 2: Knit.
Repeat Rows 1-2 until piece measures 20” [51 cm] from beginning.
Bind off loosely.
Finishing
Weave in ends.
Pillow Back
Cut 22” [56 cm] square of fabric for each pillow. Turn 1” [2.5 cm] to wrong side along all edges and press.
With wrong sides together, hold Front and Back pieces together. Using blanket stitch, sew pieces together along 3 sides. Insert pillow form. Sew last side closed.

I'm always looking for quick projects because I don't have a lot of time for long, complicated things. These pillow fronts are perfect! With the jumbo yarn and ginormous needles you could make one in an evening. Then just stitch it to the fabric back and you're done! Love it!
