I love the look of this scarf but I have found the yarn is discontinued. Does anyone know how to get it(I have searched a lot) or what is a good alternative? Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

This was the worst thing I ever tried to knit. I special ordered the yarn, which was horrible to work with. Finally gave up on it and didn't even reuse that yarn. So sad, because I loved the way it looked.

The pattern states size 10 needles, then listed under materials it says size 10 1/2 needles. Which one is best to use? I am eager to make it and love the look.

Work the row. Don't carry the yarn. Great pattern for combining a plain and a fancy yarn!

Do you mean to say repeat last 4 rows, not last 2 rows which would make you keep tying in alternate color every row?

After the Pattern 1 states repeat last 2 rows. Are you carrying your B yarn across for row 3 or work the pattern?

no, you wouldn't carry the yarn across the row in this pattern, you would carry it up the side, so it is available to you the next time you need it without creating a million ends to

Hi Knitters, Thank you for notifying us of a typo, we have since updated the page. There is no Pattern II. The only stripe pattern you will be knitting is Pattern I, which is constructed of the first four rows. Hope this helps! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

where is Pattern II that you mention.Pattern is very confusing. Please clarify. I am still trying to make it.
