It is the silk wrap paper that is used to knit this that makes it so special. The "yarn" creates a very sculptural looking scarf, almost like wire mesh, but with more flow. I love the metal look. A different type of yarn would create a nice scarf, but wouldn't have quite the same look.

Another basic pattern that is fun to knit as it does not require total concentration on the pattern - a relaxing knit as it were and so attractive when finished. And the potential to be worn in different ways !!
