Beginner

Knitting Needle Size15 or 10 mm

Yarn Weight(6) Super Bulky/Super Chunky (4-11 stitches for 4 inches)

Gauge9 sts and 12 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking stitch.

Finished SizeApprox 10" x 110" [25.5 x 279.5 cm], excluding fringe.

Materials List

Bernat Wool-Up Bulky (6 oz/170 g; 121 yds/110 m): Aran (50008) - 4 balls

Instructions

Cast on 23 sts.
1st row: (RS). K3. *P1. K3. Rep from * to end of row.
2nd row: K1. *P1. K3. Rep from * to last 2 sts. P1. K1.
3rd to 6th rows: As 1st and 2nd rows twice more.
7th row: K1. *P1. K3. Rep from * to last 2 sts. P1. K1.
8th row: K3. *P1. K3. Rep from * to end of row.
9th to 12th rows: As 7th and 8th rows twice more.
These 12 rows form pat. Cont in pat until work from beg measures approx 110" [279.5 cm], ending on a 5th or 11th row. Cast off in pat.

To make the fringe, cut lengths of yarn 24" [61 cm] long. Take 2 strands tog, fold in half and knot into fringe across each end of Scarf. Trim fringe evenly.

and again a super scarf that demands to be knit... but I do have sweaters to be done lol and a few more baby hats to finish so that they are ready for the December babies

The coziness of this scarf is unreal. I haven't tried making a super scarf yet, but I'm definitely going to try this one!
