Don't let lace intimidate you. This Wisp scarf pattern is a perfect starting place for any knitter interested in expanding their skills into the world of lace. Four rows of garter stitch are alternated with four rows of fishnet lace for a knit lace scarf that even a beginner can tackle with confidence. This light scarf can be worn at any time of the year, making it a great project for the summer knitter.

This pattern is lovely, but I am sure that it is more appropriate for a person who is a little bit more experienced than the absolute beginner. A beginner would get frustrated with the tiny stitches!

I am totally in love with dainty lace, and this scarf looks so intricate and gorgeous, I just can't stand thinking I'll have to wait until I get the appropriate yarn. I love the fact that it is light weight and can be worn anytime of year, although I think a yarn with less of a halo would look better in the summer.

lovely scarf--download does not work even after downloading the unzip file.

This doesn't have a zip file, it is a website pattern

Wow, the chocolate coloured one is absolutely stunning.
