This is a nice easy mindless pattern. The only problem is the gauge is way off, the stated gauge is 9 stitches and 18 rows to 4", the gauge actually comes out at 16 stitches to 7" and 12 rows to 4". It works up rather quickly and uses far less yarn than is called for in the pattern.

This is a super easy pattern which is ideal for beginners starting out as well as those looking for garter stitch patterns. It knits up quickly because of the thickness of the wool used so it would make a great last minute present if you don't have much time to make something, you could also use up stash by making it multicoloured.

This is a great scarf pattern. Super simple, but I love the colors. This would be an easy way to show school spirit too!
